Glory To Slytherin

Chapter 51 Harry's Panic

Ulysses slipped slowly down the wall, leaning back, breathing heavily.

"Do you know what you are doing, Mr. Lestrange."

Professor Snape withdrew his gaze from the hole in the wall and looked at Ulysses, his eyes intertwined with blame and fear.

The actions of Ulysses just now were extremely dangerous, and a little mistake could possibly die under the huge body of the basilisk. If he died, let alone the school's punishment, the guilt in his heart would be enough to immerse Professor Snape for a long time.

Ulysses smiled wryly, confessing wrongly on his face:

"On an impulse... I rushed up when I saw an opportunity..."

Recalling the thrilling moment just now, Ulysses also felt a little sweaty palms. But in order to get what's inside the basilisk and not be discovered by others, he can only make dangerous moves.

Originally, he planned to kill the basilisk in the secret room to get the goods, but he didn't expect that after the black-robed wizard returned to the secret room without success, the basilisk disappeared.

What was even more unexpected was that the basilisk was actually called out by the viper, and Ulysses must not miss this opportunity.

Professor Snape snorted coldly, and as soon as he was about to speak, he saw Professor McGonagall and a group of professors rushing into the auditorium.

When the students outside saw the basilisk fleeing, they also poured into the auditorium.

"Merlin is on! What happened? Has the school been invaded by trolls again?"

When Professor McGonagall saw the damage in the auditorium, his breathing was stagnant, and his whitish lips trembled and said, "Dumbledore just went to the Ministry of Magic for a visit...that's it?"

"Trolls have no such destructive power, Minerva."

Professor Snape's thin lips opened and closed. "But I think we know what that attacked the student was."

"We'll talk about it when Dumbledore returns."

Professor McGonagall looked around the auditorium, with some undisguised worry in his tone, "Are there any students injured? Are there..."

She didn't dare to say that terrible vocabulary. Professor Snape saw her thoughts and shook her head and said, "Don't worry, no one is Death. But a few students are injured, so I should send them to school quickly. The hospital, those few falls are not light..."

When Professor McGonagall came to the wounded, he saw that Professor Lockhart had reached into his robe and was about to take out his wand, and said in his mouth:

"Don't be afraid, children, let me heal you... soon, it doesn't hurt at all..."

Some of the wounded were holding their arms, some holding their stomachs, and some blood flowing across their faces. They were all pale and trembling, watching Professor Lockhart shaking their heads, and they didn't know if they were afraid or hurt.

"Gidro!"

Professor McGonagall yelled and held his hand, "I think it's better to let Bobby come...she has experience, she has been working at Hogwarts for decades..."

Madam Pomfrey glared at Professor Lockhart from the side, and then unceremoniously pushed him away, squatting down in front of the wounded.

Professor Lockhart blinked, showing a regretful look, and took a few steps to retreated.

"Be careful, professor. I saw people from the Abyss organization at school."

Ulysses walked up to Professor Lockhart and said in a voice that only two people could hear.

Professor Lockhart's eyes widened suddenly, his body stiffened, and the blood on his face faded bit by bit. He looked at Ulysses in disbelief, hoping to see that he was joking in his eyes.

Ulysses shook his head, indicating that there was no need to joke about this issue. Professor Lockhart panicked all of a sudden, hurriedly leaned to his side, and said in a low voice and hastily:

"What to do? Did he come to kill me? Should I run away?"

"He has another purpose. Even if he wants to kill you, I think it's just an incidental task."

Ulysses calmed Professor Lockhart's heart a bit. The black-robed sorcerer probably did not act on Professor Lockhart until he achieved the goal, otherwise a professor died in the castle, which would inevitably cause panic.

Professor Lockhart breathed a sigh of relief, but he was still like an ant on a hot pan, unable to settle down.

Madam Pomfrey took a few wounded to the school hospital. Professor McGonagall pointed his wand to his throat, and a loud voice resounded through the auditorium:

"Now, everyone returns to the common room under the leadership of the prefect!"

The veteran prefects immediately came out and led the students from their college in an orderly manner. Professor Flitwick and Professor Sprout are responsible for the patrol.

"Mr. Lestrange, you stay for a while."

Professor Snape rolled his eyelids and said to Ulysses who was just about to drive away.

Ulysses, who was sneaking close to the Slytherin team heard it, and had no choice but to return.

"Do you know who blinded that thing's eyes?"

Professor Snape squinted, looked at Ulysses and asked.

"Nothing, Professor."

Ulysses' expression was extremely sincere, harmless to humans and animals.

...

On the way back to the Gryffindor common room, Harry felt that everyone around him was whispering inexplicably, and cast a strange look at him.

He didn't like this feeling very much.

"Go slow..." Ron said in his ear, "Go behind..."

Ron pulled the lap of his robe, and the three of them walked at the end of the line.

"You are a snake-like voice. Why don't you tell us?"

"What am I?"

Harry asked puzzledly.

"Snake voice!" Ron said, "You can talk to snakes!"

"I see." Harry said thoughtfully.

"I mean, this is the second time I have done this. Once in the zoo, I accidentally let out a boa constrictor, and the boa constrictor rushed to my cousin Dudley-this is something to say Long, the big python told me that it had never been to Brazil, so I let it out unknowingly. I didn't mean it. At that time I didn't know that I was a wizard..."

"Did it really say that?"

Ron said in a very solemn tone.

Harry nodded surely.

"You understand what it says. It's not an ordinary skill, Harry. It's terrible..."

"What's bad?"

Harry felt angry, "What's wrong with everyone? Listen, I just yelled for help! Ulysses seemed to really kill me at the time!"

"Oh, what did you call ‘Help’? What about the next sentence?"

Hermione frowned and asked.

"I told the big snake to stop... What do you mean? You were there at the time... You heard me talking."

"We heard you talking in a snake-like voice."

Ron said, "It's the voice of a snake. You can say anything. The voice you were talking... was creepy, did you know?"

Harry looked at him dumbfounded.

Hermione said quietly, "I saw in the book that being able to talk to snakes is Salazar Slytherin's famous ability. Therefore, the symbol of Slytherin is a snake."

"That's it," Ron made up the knife. "Now, everyone in the school will think you are his great, great, great, great-grandson or something..."

"But I am not."

Harry said in a panic, thinking about everything just now, a panic that he couldn't explain occurred in his heart.

"You will find this difficult to prove."

Hermione said, "His life was about a thousand years ago, and as far as we know, you are likely to be his descendants."

Harry was speechless. He glanced out the window, desperately hoping that Dumbledore would return soon.
