From Azkaban To Hogwarts

Chapter 63: William is reading

When Professor McGonagall’s class was made to jump around, William was soaking in the school library.

Not long after class, he came over with his book and test paper bag.

Although everything has gone well for him at Hogwarts so far, including the fifth grade, which he finds the most difficult to handle, he has successfully established majesty in just one class, but he is very clear about his weight.

Throw away the accumulation of wizarding knowledge brought about by the messy mentoring and apprentice teaching. His understanding of the entire magical world can only be derived from the books he has read since his release from prison.

Except for a few common spells in life, he didn’t work on any magic that seemed interesting, but instead devoted all his energy to the magic of attack and self-defense—in fact, even these. The study of combat magic is supported by his magic power slightly higher than that of ordinary people and the fighting skills that he has figured out without knowing whether it is useful.

But even so, William still has not been able to successfully master a few silent spells, not to mention the more demanding wandless casts that only appear when bragging among the Azkaban criminals.

Although with the knowledge that Azkaban heard and William’s own experience in exam-oriented education for many years, William feels that he is qualified for the position of professor, but this does not mean that he has not improved his ideas.

Even if he sorted out those test papers, he was greedily absorbing the contents of those test questions that he had never touched before, and kept them firmly in his mind.

But those are not direct learning. Compared to the Hogwarts library that has been passed down for thousands of years, all the books that William comes into contact with are just like creeks. Since it has finally been hard to establish the authority of a professor among the fifth graders , William decided to reward himself for two classes to go to the library for a dip.

   "Good morning, Mrs. Pins."

"Good morning, Professor William, are you here to borrow books?"

The thin witch glanced at the paper bag that William was carrying, and after considering it for a long time, he finally couldn't help but added:

"Professor, food is not allowed in the library."

"No, it's just the student's test paper--" William smiled, and took the initiative to open the paper bag to indicate. Since this kind of prescriptive matter is entangled in this way and the other party still asks, he doesn't feel offensive at all.

"It's a test paper, sorry professor," Mrs. Pins said in a quick tone: "What kind of bibliography are you looking for? The restricted book area is on the library side. Students are not allowed to stay nearby, so there is a table there. It's very quiet. If you have any books you are looking for, you can come and ask me directly. I can probably find most of the books in the library."

In the last sentence, the thin witch seemed to be a few inches taller. It was obvious that she was quite confident in her own words.

"I want to find some theoretical books about Silent Mantras, which are more difficult to find in the market. I want to come to the library to try my luck."

"Of course there is, I think about it... Oh, yes, there is a book in the forbidden book area that involves dark magic. The third floor of the fourth shelf in the seventh row has several theoretical books related to silent curses. The fourth floor is more practical. Applied, there are a few books about evil curses on the bottom floor of the fifth bookshelf in the same row."

To William's expectation, the librarian probably really used some magic to engrave the location of each book in her memory, and she easily reported the location of the book that William wanted to find.

"Do you need me to take you there, professor?"

"No, thank you. The size of the Hogwarts Library is really far beyond my imagination."

"Of course, this is Hogwarts." Mrs. Pins replied in a natural tone.

William accepted this sentence very reasonable, and waved goodbye, and followed Mrs. Pince’s introduction to the bookshelves.

was very lucky. None of the books he was looking for were borrowed, which made William feel very happy.

When he came to the desk next to the forbidden book area with a pile of more than a dozen books, he was immediately attracted by this place that was spacious enough to fully enjoy the sun.

‘This place is great. If it weren’t for leaning against the banned book area, it would have been filled with students, right? ’

William looked at the ‘students are not allowed to enter (Note; 1)’ notice standing next to the bookshelf, while thinking about it, he couldn’t help but give birth to a sense of pride as a permission dog.

shook his head to shake off the feeling, he began to calm down and read the book in front of him earnestly.

Within half an hour, William directly slapped the table in surprise-this action made him immediately wake up where he was.

Fortunately, there are no students nearby, and Mrs. Pins did not mean to ask him to settle accounts for this small mistake. This prevents him from facing the tragedy of being kicked out of the library in less than a minute after he is happy.

William put a bookmark in the book, then turned the first few pages of the book.

Hogwarts’ collection of books is impressive. After that, it is the name and time of the donor. There is no edition number and no printing batch. There is no doubt that this is a non-distributed book that is impossible to buy on the market. It's something like a private collection written by someone himself.

‘Although there is a curse, it’s a good thing to be able to enter Hogwarts after all—’

William sighed while shaking his head and turning the book to the original number of pages.

He knew that when he was in Azkaban, those guys have their own curse or black magic, and they are hiding them one by one, and they will never say a word to others~www.NovelMTL.com~by Az Kaban looked at the wizarding world, probably, too. Hogwarts alone could find so many orphans and banned books. You can imagine how high the quality of the books of those pure-blood families is.

And he, because of the professor’s name, not only can freely browse the collections that only school teachers and students can see, but also can get all the books in those restricted areas without anyone’s approval, and can even borrow them freely. For William, this is more valuable than salary.

is just an isolated book, and it easily solved a silent spell casting problem that had plagued him for a full month, let alone the rest of the references below and the books in the restricted area that were taken out.

When the problem was solved, William took out the parchment and quill in a good mood. While reading, he copied notes on the paper that he found useful. If it weren’t for the library’s bibliography, he would have liked to take out all his experience. Write it all down in the book.

   "What a treasure!"

After several consecutive puzzles were solved, William couldn't help but sigh.

And at this time, Professor McGonagall, who had finally managed to comfort the students, looked at his lesson plan and became suspicious for the first time--

’The Vanishing Mantra is the first mantra in the fifth grade. Isn’t it a bit too difficult, and it’s too hard for the students? ’

Note: In theory, the bibliography in the banned book zone should be approved by the professor. Although Hermione claimed to have read the banned book zone in the sixth year, she was too easy to get the approval. Professor Slughorn liked it too much. She's gone.

If the upper-class students can consult the banned book area on their own, the setting of the banned book area is basically abolished. There are too many ways for the lower-level students to get the banned books from the senior students, and there is no need for so much effort to cheat the signature.
