Lesson 3: The Power of Magic

Against the knife thrown at his head, Ira harnesses her previous kinetic vision to avoid the knife one after the other.

"Want."

but a knife flying from the side pierces my shoulder and stops moving. Two knives loose as they are.

All knives thrown from the front are faux.

Fate was in a knife to the side that was unleashed at the same time while throwing the knife in the front. The knife thrown by the mountain was to be stabbed on the shoulder, changing direction to Isla, without going straight ahead.

Meanwhile, Melissa, equally devastated by the knife, was flat.

"That's..."

There was a wind swirling around Melissa's body.

That wind is a magic to prevent ranged attacks by wind attribute magic, and the name is Arrow Avoid Wind. Something about diverting the direction of arrows and bullets released from a distance. Thanks to its effect, the knife had all fallen on the ring without the knife hitting Melissa.

"Now it's my turn"

When Melissa flies her left hand, which does not have a cane, a magic formation is created, and the bullet that compressed the wind flies towards Sylvia and Ira. It's a magical reward with low power but excellent ammo count and fast fire.

"Jokes"

Ira runs towards Melissa, pulling out a knife that was stuck in her shoulder.

In the meantime, there were bulky wind bullets, but Ira ran and slapped all the bullets off as she waved her sword.

The endurance of the Holy Sword you gave Ira and Ira's own skill make it a move.

"What a power industry..."

Sylvia also cuts through the orbit of all the bullets and avoids them dancing.

Those are also artists who can do it if they have a Silvia level agility value.

"I got it!

Ira waves her sword down as she comes close to the time the sword reaches as she plays the bullet.

"Sweet."

But just before the sword arrives, Melissa disappears.

"Damn!

It would have seemed to Ira, who had seen it from right in front of her, that Melissa had moved by showing her silver-like agility.

Wave your sword as Ira looks back in anticipation of Melissa's destination.

But an attack by Melissa's wand faster than that hits and blows Ira's back. A bullet of wind emanating from the tip of the cane strikes relentlessly as it chases to the fallen Ira on the ring.

"Come on!"

Ira rolls over the ring to dodge the wind bullet and manages to dodge it.

But Melissa, who had predicted the direction to roll, smashed the ring in the direction of travel, and fell where the hole had been drilled, causing her to lose her posture.

but when I can force myself into my hand that has poked a hole, I jump up.

"That's a failure. You don't have the magic to dodge in the air."

Raise your cane toward Ira, who jumped into the air, so that you can attack by magic.

"That's you."

Ira using the sword as a weapon, but it's not like there's no way to attack ranges.

When you wave your sword down as hard as you can while in the air, a magic slash is created and you fly to Melissa.

That's Ira's braided ranged attack with little aptitude for magic.

By placing magic on the slaughter of the sword, the method of letting the slaughter by magic glimpse its trajectory and fly. An attack that I gained access to a clear mirror water stop and was able to do because the slaughter was a sharper Isla.

Slaughter flies to Melissa.

……

At the same time, Sylvia was sneaking around and waving a dagger.

Everyone was playing from consciousness until just before. It's also evidence that Sylvia's covert abilities are so much higher.

Two slaughters reach Melissa.

"It's dangerous."

But Ira's slaughter was fogged the moment it hit by a glowing shield deployed to surround Melissa's circumference by a meter, and Sylvia's dagger was also bounced off.

That shield is a shield of light by light attribute magic (Shine Shield).

It is an effective shield against unintentional strikes because it is invisible until something touches it.

However, magic can only be used at moments when normal wizards are wary that there is an accidental strike because if you let it unfold at all times, it will consume magic guns. Such magic could also continue to be used thanks to Melissa's immense magic.

Silvia leaves Melissa, and Ira lands on the ring, alerting Melissa to set up a sword.

"You two seem to be mistaken, but I am not a normal wizard. He is a wizard who has gained tremendous magic and a broken magical aptitude of all attributes by the skills gained from being a family member. Depending on how you fight, melee combat is possible."

Three different magic formations surround Melissa's body.

"Light Transparent (Invisible), Vain Phantom (Mirage), Wind Acceleration (Sonic Acerate)"

The magic of transparency is activated by light magic and Melissa disappears.

But two seconds later, five of Melissa's appearances appear in completely different places.

It's a magically created phantom, so only one of them is the main body. The rest of the phantom disappears as long as you tap that body.

The problem lies in not knowing which one is the main unit.

Usually, if you use Mirage as it is, you will create multiple phantoms around you. However, by disappearing once by Invisible and then using it, it was not known which body it was.

(Ma, it's real to be at the far right end)

Because of the magic that was not commonly used by demonic opponents with high smell and crisis detection abilities as well as vision, it was the magic that everyone on this scene would see for the first time.

But if you calm down and discern, you can only hear footsteps from the main body.

Melissa seems to think a lot and use magic too, but she really wasn't assuming enough for the magic she used for the first time in action.

Ira doesn't seem to notice the characteristics emitted by the body like footsteps, but Sylvia rushes toward the body as she already does.

But the action was too late to go against Melissa.

Melissa pokes Sylvia's torso with a cane, including a phantom that ran out at an awesome speed. The thrust unleashed in an accelerated state was powerful enough to damage Sylvia.

"The speed now is about the same as mine......!? But Melissa shouldn't have had that much agility!

While working at the party, I've never seen Melissa play melee fights because she was only shooting magic as a fixed turret from the rear, considering their respective roles.

It was a surprise to me that Melissa could make it this far.

"The numbers that appear in the status are not everything in battle. With magic, it's easy to fill the status difference."

Sonic Acerate is a magic that increases your agility.

It is impossible even for Melissa with a cane to raise it to an agility value greater than Sylvia, but it will be possible to give it as much speed as it can approach it.

If you're going to fight at a small party of four, you don't have to bother using magic until you have two highly agile people. Melissa has never used magic that would unnecessarily raise her status thinking about the whole party before.

But if you're in a situation like this where you have to fight alone, the story is different.

Earlier when we dodged Ira's sword, it could also be dodged by accelerating it by an increased agility value.

"Phew...... I thought it would be easy if you would fight me as a fixed turret as usual, but apparently that wasn't all"

If it didn't move as a stationary turret, it could have broken through the magic storm by leveraging Sylvia's agility and Ira's sword moves. However, the opponent was not a fixed turret or anything, but a mobile turret capable of melee combat as well.

"Before it started, I thought it would end with me and Sylvia hitting one, but it doesn't seem that easy"

Ira sees about Sylvia.

Sylvia seems to have been thinking the same thing. They look at each other.

- Fight together. But defeat Melissa first.

"I don't mind that."

I'm smiling, but I can't afford it.

Melissa still enjoys the situation where she can fully use her magic.
