DNF Meets Harry Potter

Chapter 8 The Leaky Cauldron

"All freshmen must prepare a large cauldron, and can bring an owl or a toad..."

On the streets of London, Carl, Hagrid, and Harry were walking on their way to the Leaky Cauldron.

"Hagrid, Carl, can we find these strange things in London?" The little savior was a little puzzled.

"As long as you find the right place, you will be able to find it. It is estimated that this place is attached to Carl's admission letter." Hagrid said mysteriously.

Carl spread his hands and showed an innocent expression on his face, saying that he was a newbie and didn't know anything.

With Hagrid's footsteps, the surrounding shops became less and less, and the bustling roads gradually became empty.

Carl knew the destination of the trip was coming, because everything around him had proved it.

He knew that the reason why this happened in London, the capital of the United Kingdom, was entirely due to the release of a large number of shielding spells and Muggle expelling spells around.

In a sense from the Far East, this place is Feng Shui Jedi for ordinary people. Whoever opens a store here will go bankrupt. In fact, this is also the case.

Immediately he stopped, pushed open an old wooden door, and walked in with a gesture of please.

Carl and Harry looked at each other and followed.

After entering the Leaky Cauldron, Carl curiously began to take a closer look at this famous place in the wizarding world.

However, this place clearly doesn't quite match its reputation. The bar was extremely dark and dirty, with very little sunlight getting in. Carl would bet that if the bar had been opened in the human world, it would have gone bankrupt long ago.

His first impression of this place was that it was of poor quality and vulgarity. The people around were dressed in oddly shaped clothes, making a noise like a vegetable market.

Carl even wondered if there would be a drunken witch who collapsed in the bar in the middle of the night and went crazy and was picked up by a certain wretched dark wizard or something. However, he immediately thought about it. This should not happen. This place is almost one of the most concerned places in the entire British wizarding world. If you do that kind of thing here, it is estimated that you will be discovered in a blink of an eye. This he secretly said a pity.

Hagrid's huge and burly body attracted widespread attention as soon as he entered.

"Ah, so it's Hagrid, you're here, or is it the same?" Tom, the boss standing at the bar, was wiping a cup with a dirty rag.

Carl, who saw this scene, felt a chill in his heart, God, are you wizards so unhygienic?

Then he looked at old Tom carefully from the top down. I saw that his hair was almost completely stripped, and there were only a few stubborn sparse strands covering his bald head, which looked like a rotten walnut.

Under the dim candle, Carl watched as some wizards were playing wizard chess with wine glasses. The king picked up the stool and smashed the head of the other knight.

"Then have a bottle of Butterbeer, and a glass of pumpkin juice for Harry and Carl each." Hagrid patted the two of them on the shoulders and said with a smile.

As soon as these words came out, Carl and his party instantly became the focus of the entire Leaky Cauldron. All wizards, men and women, young and old, all cast their eyes straight.

"Oh! It's Mr. Harry Potter, welcome back!"

"Merlin's beard!, tell me this is not a dream! Harry Potter, he's back!" Then wizards kept coming over to hold his hand and talk to him excitedly.

"Harry Potter, I can't describe how excited I am to see you~" A wizard wearing a big turban and smelling garlic all over his body looked at Harry with great excitement.

"Quirro! The first boss, Voldemort should be behind his head, should we kill Quirrell now so that he can no longer be a demon?" Carl pretended to crouch down and tie his shoelaces, but actually picked up a little bit. Quirrell had just picked a little fingernail that had fallen to the ground.

Karl stood up and vaguely put his fingernails back into his pockets and squeezed the cursed doll made by the goddess of the Moon. Although this thing might not kill Voldemort, it must be more than enough to curse a Quirrell.

Curses need a carrier. Although it is enough to say that the wizard's name has magic power, it will definitely be better if you can get a specific birthday date or personal belongings and then curse.

"Oh, Harry, Carl, let me introduce you. This is Professor Quirrell. He is currently a professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts. He will be your teacher in the future." A little cute new introduction.

"Oh! Nice to meet you, Professor Quirrell." Harry responded quickly and held out his hand to shake his hand.

"Wonderful and terrifying subject! But I don't think you need to learn this." Quirrell or Lao Fu smiled at Harry, but declined Harry's invitation to shake hands.

At this time Old Tom's Butter Beer and Pumpkin Juice also came up.

"Come on, Harry, Carl, you are underage and can't drink. Pumpkin juice is also a good drink. I believe you will fall in love with this taste." Hagrid pushed the pumpkin juice in front of the two of them.

"Thanks Hagrid, but I'm not thirsty yet."

Carl thanked and euphemistically said that he did not want to drink this thing for the time being. Looking at the glass of pumpkin juice, the color was bright yellow and it looked very good, but he was no longer interested in the food here when he saw Old Tom wiping the glass with a rag just now.

As expected of the British Empire, even the food in the wizarding world is so bad.

I'm sorry to bother you, I don't deserve it.

And Harry obviously didn't have the same consciousness as Carl. He took a sip of the pumpkin juice and thought it tasted good and then drank it. Carl was stunned when he saw it.

"Poor baby, I don't know what kind of human suffering he suffered at his aunt's house, so crazy."

Carl groaned inwardly.

"Oh! This pumpkin juice is delicious!" Harry put down the glass and licked his lips as if he wanted to drink it.

"Okay, two little gentlemen, we should go, there are still a lot of things to buy." Hagrid greeted the wizards in the bar and reminded them with a smile.

He took Harry and Carl to the back door of the bar, facing them was a wall. I saw Hagrid stepped forward, took out his little red umbrella and knocked on the wall, saying, "Look here, two little gentlemen, you will need to open the door yourself when you come here. Remember this location, go to Knock two pieces up and two pieces inward, like this."

After Hagrid knocked on the bricks, the whole wall began to shake, and Carl held his breath as some dust fell. As the wall vibrated, a small opening gradually appeared in the middle, and the bricks spread out to the left and right. After a while, a round arched entrance that could even allow Hagrid to pass through appeared in front of them. Snaking up to Diagon Alley with no end in sight.
