Blade Online

Side Story

My sister and I started the game at the same time that we bought the Dream for two on our birthday and the Blade Online service started.

You can't get out of here until you've cleared it, without knowing you can put me in jail like that.

When we played the game, we both decided to take it from our own names. I took it from Ryunosuke and Lew, and my sister stayed in Lynn from the bell. I thought it was a name I would only use for a few moments in the game. However, the name Ryunosuke Asada no longer makes sense in this world, and the player name Lew became the name that stands for me. I'm sure that's the same for everyone else. When I wield an axe and defeat a monster, I realize I'm a lew. I'm not sure what this feeling is, but I felt sick that I was losing myself.

It was a guy named Taka who picked us up when no one was dealing with us because he was a kid. He was someone with such an atmosphere that I could feel safe just being with him. Mr. Taka gathered children's players to build guilds, safely defeated low-level monsters, and raised everyone's level. Having defeated the first area boss without sacrifice, we made new protective gear and headed to the next area, Dinosaur Jungle. I got to the same level there and everything was going well. Lynn, who had been feeling weak since I got here, started laughing a lot, and I thought I could live in peace in this place.

The "Dinosaur Jungle" boss looked like Tyrannosaurus with two heads: Double Head Rex. We took the time to defeat the boss while following Taka's instructions. The next day, when we got a new weapon, we were on track and testing the power of the weapon until sundown in the area. The sight I saw that day is still burning in the back of my brain.

A spear player who suddenly appeared pierced Taka's chest. Unfortunately, Taka died instantly after entering the steeple. The HP bar empties in an instant. As Taka opened her eyes wide, she turned into a grain of light and disappeared after she looked at what was growing on her chest and said it was incredible. That's all there was to it when people died. It just became a grain of light. It was just as light as a monster dying. It disappears without any aftertaste. I knew this place wasn't real, and I thought I was Lew.

While everyone was flattered, what I thought was I had to help Lynn. I notice a man approaching me from behind Lynn, slapping "Full Swing". He didn't seem to expect to be fought back, and the man held down his attacked right arm and exclaimed. Pain is the same as in the real world. I grabbed Lynn's hand and ran out of the man. Lynn still looked jiggly at the back of Mr. Taka's death in an unacceptable manner. I take the warp rope out of the item box. I told Lynn to use it, but she said she still had company and didn't try to use it. The voices of the men are approaching from behind. Even Lynn, who wastes time, is not a fool, he runs away with a warrope and hangs words. He seemed unconvinced, but I saw the men coming with the weapons. Lynn seemed willing to use them, and took out the warrope.

Lew, hold hands.

Lynn reached out to me, wrapped in the green of the warp rope. He's usually a strong phosphorus, but that look was weak and cut off.

"Yeah."

Holding Lynn's hand, we were completely engulfed in light. The place to go is Golem Mountain, the next area in the Dinosaur Jungle. I wanted to get out of an area like where PK players are.

The next time we opened our eyes, we were in an unfamiliar city. There are more NPC outlets than in the second area, and players are walking around at night. Apparently, the further we go into the back area, the bigger the city gets. That's what I thought as I looked up at the mountains made of big rocks right on the side of the city.

I entered the inn that was nearby and decided to stay. After we took a shower, we had nothing to do and decided to go to bed. I've heard that Lynn doesn't have to report PK, but she needs to know the name of the player to do that. Why did you do it this way? I knew on my first day that I couldn't trust the operation of this game.

Put down your protective equipment and weapons and get into bed. Close your eyes and Taka will play disappearing and you won't be able to sleep. What happened to my people? Will he be alive? Yeah, I went to Lynn, but I think they're probably killing us all. We were all stunned to see Mr. Taka die, so maybe he was killed without being able to fight back.

"Lew... can I sleep with you?

Lynn came into the cot before I responded. Lynn also puts her head on the pillow. It took shape for the two of us to face each other. I think Lynn has a pretty face. If someone I don't know sees, will they look like lovers to each other?

"Mr. Taka... you're dead. Everyone..."

Lynn buries me in the chest with a crunchy twist on my face. My eyeballs are getting hot, and I feel like I'm going to have zero tears, but I can blink. I'm Ryunosuke, Bell's brother. I was born almost at the same time, but I'm your brother. You can't be weak in front of your sister. I'm the only one who can protect him now.

"Brother... Brother don't go anywhere"

Lynn hugs my body hard.

"Yeah. I'm fine. I'll protect Lynn."

Many kinds of golems fall from the sky. It's a monster house. Shit, I can't believe there's a trap here.

We'll knock out the golem that's coming to us, working with Lynn, but no. Too many. What are you doing? I am. Why are you doing this when you decided to protect Lynn?

HP is gradually shredded. The number of monsters never decreases. It was only a matter of time before we died just like Mr. Taka.

"We're going to step up! Are you all right!"

Heaven did not abandon us. Looks like someone's here to help. He was dressed out of common sense as a machete in his initial gear. Yet he slashes down the golem one after the other. Then he flew in the sky and traveled all the way behind us, trumpeting the golem he was about to attack from behind. I got the impression more of a monster than an angel who came to save us. It feels like he's enjoying it somewhere out of his eyes when he's killing monsters. Has this person become another person entirely? I will eventually be Lew, not Ryunosuke altogether. Will I be like him then? That was a little attractive, but scary.

I'll protect Lynn.

I can't protect Lynn right now. If this man is capable, he might help us.

"No... it's only natural to help each other."

To thank us, he said so with a refreshing grin. I thought he seemed like a kind person, unlike the impression I had just made. This guy might protect Lynn. I know it's flashy, and I know it's on my own, but I asked him. He asked me to organize a party.

I thought you'd say no. But he accepted. Perhaps the impression I received earlier was still wrong.

As we talked, I found out he was a hell of a strong man. There seems to be some circumstance I can't talk to you about, but that's still good.

Dawn got mad at me after I defeated Giganto Golem and went back to the inn.

"My brother says“ brother ”because he can be born to protect or help his sister. What are you gonna do with that brother hurting his sister, Lew? Keep Lynn safe."

I thought you were absolutely right. I'm supposed to stand up and protect Lynn, but I can't talk about it if I'm protected.

Turns out Dawn also has a sister. I hear your sister is in this world, too. But I don't know where he is. Dawn's eyes cloud when she utters the word "sister”. I can't say it well, but it's like the light went out and went black. Did something happen with your sister? But I was hesitant to ask.

"If you don't mind, could you eat my rice every day?

Lynn suddenly said this. I get stunned unexpectedly. Dawn looked the same. But apparently it meant throwing a party. I'm surprised. Please organize the party for a while longer, because it was something I was going to tell Dawn about, so Lynn put me ahead of her.

Dawn seemed lost. I don't know what this guy's thinking. [M] Well, unless you're an esper, I don't know what people think, but this guy's expression changes gallantly from time to time. I thought he'd say no, but he conditioned me to say no until he attacked the next area.

I think it's brilliant. It's like a parasite, you know. But the only way we can live in this world is with someone else's help.

Dawn might take care of Lynn when something happens to me. Because I'm sure Lynn won't live without someone to take care of me when I die. I don't know what you're thinking, but I feel like Dawn would help me.

To protect Lynn. It's better to stay in a relationship with someone strong.

I protect the bell. [M] Even if I can't do it on my own.
