Episode 7: The Skull and The Ghosts

"What the... He"

At the end of Bell's gaze, something that did not exist until the show began. The passenger seat was four steps long, so that the stage could be seen properly even at the rearmost. That something Bell discovered was at the rear of the passenger seat.

"You found something?

Attracted by Bell's voice, Judy also sees the direction in which there is someone.

There was a person standing there who was too suspicious from anyone's eyes. The person wore a long coat and a mask with a perfectly hidden face. What a creep that mask was.

The majority of the masks are shaped like black dokuro made of metal, but the lower jaw area created a difference. Doc's teeth were so real that the mandible leading there was a zombie-like green skin. All the parts I see now are supposed to be masks, but only that mandible looked like an organism.

Mechanical devices are mounted around both ears, and suspicious smoke is emitted from elongated tube-like areas that are protruding from the ear to the jaw.

He's suspicious from wherever he comes from, but so far he's done nothing but enjoy the show like any other audience.

"What a creep..."

"He's definitely suspicious..."

Judy and Bell were eyeing that person suspicious because they saw him and making him pull his face. Why have we never been able to find someone so suspicious and full disclosure?

The dubious doc mask man had been nailed to a King Clover performance that would play out on stage for a while, but after a while he gazed at Bell.

"Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait."

As soon as I looked at Bell, the dubious Docromask man took his seat in a panic. He went for the exit of the circus tent as he scratched the crowd.

When he sees how it is, Bell rushes after the man, too. Fortunately, most of the audience was nailed to King Clover's performance, so there was no fuss.

"I'm not running away from you."

Bell stood on his right hand to unleash black magic (Grimoire). There is still a distance between the man in the doc mask and the bell, and unless you let the flames catch you and stop you, you can't catch up.

"Hey, hey."

"What the hell?"

Judy grabs the right hand of Bell, who was still about to unleash a flame. Grabbed by his right hand, Bell stares at Judy with a disgruntled face.

"You can't use black magic (Grimoire) anywhere! You're not totally in control yet, are you? You almost hurt everyone around you to get him."

Judy was a person who could handle things more calmly than Bell. After freeing Arosha's power, Bell has rampaged that power several times. Although the control of the flames has been largely better than at first on missions in the Amnis Desert, there is still no guarantee anywhere that its power can be handled safely.

"Let go! You'll get away with this..."

Bell slowly waved Judy's hand away and left the tent when he was hit with an honest argument and suddenly weakened his tone.

When Bell left the circus tent, he was still able to catch the man with the doc mask at the end of his gaze. However, that figure is getting smaller, and if you don't hurry, you may lose sight of it instead of catching it.

"You don't have a problem here..."

Bell was ready to use black magic (Grimoire) this time. If you're chasing after me normally like this, you'll never make it.

Everyone visiting the circus was gathered in the tent where Bell had just been, and those who could not get inside were also hissing around it. If you fly a flame through a man in a doc mask like this, there will be no harm done to irrelevant people.

"Kura-e"

Bell screamed as she ran. Having survived the trials of doors, Bell is not like before. Now that Arrosha is helping me, I can fly flames freely.

The fireworks emitted from the boy's right palm fly towards the man in the dochromatic mask while producing the Yangtze. At this time, the distance between Bell and the man in the Docromask was about 100 meters. For Bell, who is not very used to flying flames, the chances of being hit by a man in a doc mask were low. Bell went into some kind of battle.

Bell was slacking his mouth. As you aim, the bright red flames emanating from Bell's hands are flying straight towards the man in the doc mask. At this rate, the flames should be able to strike directly at the mysterious man and restrain his figure as planned.

⁉ ︎

But Bell's predictions were betrayed. It was Bell's fireworks that flew straight and were thought to have been directly attacked by a mysterious man, but somehow the mysterious man keeps running as if nothing had happened. The long coat he wraps himself in should certainly have been dyed red for a moment, but the man's body is not on fire. It's as if the flames have slipped through his body or the flames have been absorbed.

"What do you mean..."

For that moment, Bell didn't know what had happened. Are you saying that black magic (Grimoire) exists in the world that slips through black magic (Grimoire) or absorbs black magic (Grimoire)?

Bell continues to follow the back of the docromask in an attempt to create an unforeseen situation. My body is desperately trying to contain the man, but Bell's head is white. The man in the doc mask is definitely not the same black magician (grigori) Bell has ever encountered.

Chasing a heartless and mysterious man, Bell was passing where the flame hit that man earlier.

"What's going on..."

The next thing you see in Bell's eyes will confuse Bell even more. On the ground a little further, Arosha's fire was still burning red.

Now the line that says the man in the Docromask has absorbed Black Magic (Grimoire) has disappeared. In other words, the man said that he slipped through black magic (Grimoire) or that it was an illusion. There are many possibilities, but Bell couldn't think of anything right now.

Remaining relieved, Bell absorbs a burning flame in front of him and pushes straight forward.

Eventually, Bell was reaching an unfamiliar place. Until the show starts, this is outside the circus grounds. Bell had come outside the immigrant town of Voltaire.

There was lush greenery and tall trees covered the surroundings. To the view, Belle remembered the nostalgia. Bell used to play in the neighborhood woods with his brother and childhood friends at an early age. Bell rested his heart for a little while in that lush landscape. For Bell, who was relieved, that had been a good starting point to get his sanity back.

"Where?... here."

Bell moves forward on his feet before fearing as he looks around. If the man in the doc mask ran straight away, this should be the place to go. However, until just now, Bell was almost out of his mind. No wonder I'm missing something important.

After a while, Bell's vision opened up. The lush trees tried to avoid something, and only the place was open.

And the next thing that popped into Bell's eyes was reminding Bell of a memory.

In front of Bell was a large fountain. It would be more right to say lake than fountain. It was a far bigger lake than a fountain of stardust that was spreading in front of me. The lake was so large that it could not cross to the other shore without a ship. The lake had reminded Bell of the mysterious old man Bruce, and even the view of his hometown.

"Hmm?"

When Bell was remembering various memories, a change occurred in the lake in front of him. There wasn't supposed to be anything there until just now, but now someone is standing in the center of the lake. No man can stand on the water. But he does stand on the lake.

"You're suspicious, aren't you?"

It was definitely that guy in the doc mask who showed up there. A divine man who says he's in a tent, says he's at this moment now, and shows up from nowhere. If you look again, he still hasn't suffered one scratch. How did you avoid Bell's attack?

"You... King Sertoria Army?

At this time, Bell was aware of another fact. The man in the doc mask in front of you. What he was wearing was indeed the uniform of the Serbian King's Army. As he had recently been facing the figures of the Serbian King's Army, Bell quickly found out.

The man in the doc mask is dressed in a dark green long coat. Both hands are hidden in black gloves and their faces are covered with creepy masks. No one can tell his face.

"So what are you saying? Shouldn't you be wearing this uniform if you're not from the Serbian King's Army?

The next moment, the man in the doc mask spoke for the first time. The voice was extremely unnatural. It's as if the original voice was processed using a voice changer, a spooky, low voice.

"So you're telling me you're not from the Serbian King's Army?

"If I were a man of the Serbian King's Army, I would have no need to hide who I am or to flee in this way. Don't you think?

The man in the doc mask denied Bell's speculation.

"So you're the one who sent the weird letter to Trump Circus, right? Are you Elba's successor?

"Don't make me laugh. Why should I be Elba's successor? I'm just acting for a personal purpose. I have nothing to do with cards, circuses, etc. What I need... is more of you."

He is neither a man of the King Sertoria Army, nor a successor to Elba. If so, who the hell is he?

"... what? Why are you doing this to me?

With that one word, Bell gets confused all at once.

"My name is Necromancer. He who flies an anti-flag against this country. I need more help from you Black Mages (Grigori) knights than from Trump Circus. If we continue to act foolishly in conspiracy with the kingdom like this, I will crush you all in this country."

The man in the doc mask is named Necromancer. Apparently he has a grudge against the Kingdom of Serbia, and he doesn't have a good idea about the Knights cooperating with the Kingdom of Serbia.

"That means you're Elba's successor, after all, right?

"I told you it wasn't"

The information was jammed and Bell couldn't get his head to work. who flies an anti-flag against the kingdom. That's certainly what Necromancer said. For it was not surprising that it was possible to say that he was Elba's successor, but the person at the time denies it.

"I am aiming for an opportunity to overthrow the state. To that end, various actions have been taken to date. Remember that? disturbance in Adford."

"What?"

"It's a recent story. You were supposed to be at Adford just then, weren't you? In the western capital of this country, the souls of coal miners who died nearly 30 years ago awoke from a long sleep. And they moved on to the human body, looking for Raven Gopher, the culprit in the case"

"...... how do you know that ⁉ ●"

The next thing I heard from Necromancer's mouth was exactly what Bell experienced at Adford. The ghosts of coal miners, led by the coal mine manager, suddenly woke up and rode one man after another, including Rock Howard.

At this time, Bell was remembering a certain word.

“That's... I don't know. Recently, our consciousness awakened with clarity, and anger that would never disappear gushed from the bottom of our hearts. I won't tolerate gophers. The feeling alone was moving. All the coal miners here."

That was the word that came out of the mouth of the coal mine manager when Sedona questioned him. They were ghosts and wandered the world for several years after their death, but until recently they say they were in deep sleep.

It is certain that the sleeping soul has awakened due to some trigger, but the cause is still unknown.

"Because that's what I did. My name is Necromancer. Dead souls can be manipulated freely by me. I awakened the souls of the sleeping coal miners and planted them with anger that would never go away. Thanks to you, Adford was supposed to be in a mess... without you guys."

It was no other Necromancer who awakened the souls of the coal miners who were asleep at that time. From his voice, he could feel anger. Although it is the voice that is processed, I can feel definite anger from it.

The sudden appearance of Necromancer was a new enemy, denying all the possibilities Bell had in mind.
