Episode 2: The White Gligoli

At that moment, a small light lit up the area. It's a candle. That little light reveals who the man who grabbed Bell's hand is. Elegant, wavy purple hair. Pierced ears, strong eyelashes and red painted lips.

Staring at Bell was a woman who seemed powerful to see. The age is presumably around 60.

"You're an out-of-the-box thief. That's such a cute girl too, hanging out with kids...... what a man!

The lady sighed as she grabbed Bell's right hand. To say that this lady showed up in good time, the roast chicken in front of her was probably a trap.

"Haha, haha"

Suddenly Bell laughs. In this phase, I had to laugh anymore. Like Lili said, there was nowhere else to turn to for crime.

"Damn...... what are you guys up to? You sound like our son working stealing even though you're so young!

…………

The bells, who cannot be easily named, will remain silent.

"What's the matter with you? You can't keep your mouth shut. Here, sit down."

Seeing the silent bells, the lady's waist softened as she was about to. She seems to be a woman with a large vessel.

Then the lady pointed the bells at the chairs lined up to surround the table.

"Atashi's son is a big fool. Finally, I was handcuffed and headed to Rottervania. You deserve it."

Sitting the bells, the lady just started talking about herself. Some of her stories caught on to something.

"Auntie. Could that son be an austere rock?

Unexpectedly, Bell opens his mouth. I went into stealing, and I don't even have a name. Still, Bell is about to start a conversation with the residents of this house.

"You guys know that idiot?

"Stay in Adford until recently."

"Well... maybe the murderer's mother doesn't have the guts to say anything about such a cute crime..."

Suddenly the woman's expression clouded. As the parent of the murderer Rock Howard, I feel guilty.

"There is no greater or lesser sin. My name is Belle Quill Faust. I did the worst I could. I will atone for my sins."

On a serious look, Bell expressed his gratitude in a calm voice. It's always like being childish, fine and dyeing your hands at crime, but I understand that the behavior comes at a price.

"Sorry!"

Continued, Lili and Allen also bowed their heads. I didn't sneak in here thinking of myself, but it's an undisputed fact that I ended up on Bell's idea.

"Atashi is Barbara Howard. Brother, there seems to be a lot going on, but you're a black magician, aren't you?

"Yes."

"If you want to atone for your sins, actually, do me a favor."

Barbara had a grin that made her include. I only have a bad feeling about Bell anymore.

"What's the favor?

To Belle waiting for an explanation, Barbara pokes at an article in a newspaper.

“Imminent Vampire Threat”

It's a newspaper article Barbara used to read.

There are vampires lurking in this town of Renato.

"Is a vampire that vampire?

Lili has her eyes round. She knew about the existence of vampires (vampires) in picture books, stories, etc., but never actually saw them.

"Ah. It's literally a monster that sucks people's blood."

Barbara's eyes sharpened. She seems disgusted with vampires (vampires).

"What does this article say is happening in this town?

"Exactly. How many comrades have died already..."

Barbara's expression clouds again. There are many dead people out there in this town. Besides, all of that bit me in the neck, which led to death.

"He said there's nothing on the killer... really nothing on him?

Bell glanced through the article one by one, mouthing the questions that had arisen. Even though there are many victims out there, we have no clue about the killer. Would you even say it was the crime of a fairly smart intelligent criminal?

"Too bad, nothing...... some guys witnessed the moment of the murder, but still nothing to prove"

"Wait a minute. Isn't that weird? There's someone who witnessed that moment, and there can't be any proof of it, can there?

Lili couldn't understand what Barbara said.

"Lady, I have no proof whatsoever. He says he suddenly bled out of his neck and collapsed."

"Does that mean transparent people?

Bell doesn't understand this incredible situation either. Take your life without seeing it in people's eyes. A horrible murderer.

"Transparent people with vampires? Ah! I don't know what that means anymore!

Lili also holds her head.

"Isn't that weird? The invisible vampire fangs are stained with blood, but I can't grasp their tails at all. Atashi thinks the killer is a black magician."

"I see. Maybe some black magicians (grigories) have the ability to kill without the target being noticed."

Lili was very convinced by Barbara's thoughts.

"Um, I haven't asked you what Mr. Barbara's favor is yet?

As the debate about vampires began to flourish, Bell returned to the conversation with regret. Turns out this town is suffering from unidentified vampire damage, but it's still not clear what Barbara's favor is.

"I want you to find out who the vampire is and get him."

Barbara finally tells Belle. The contents were as expected by Daiwa Bell.

"Okay."

"A black magician (Grigori) I already know of Atashi is looking for, but there are limits to the black magician (Grigori) in this town. So I want you to work with that kid to find him."

"There's a black magician (Grigori) in this town too, isn't there? Where is he now?

Lili shows interest in Renato's Black Mage (Grigori). Her number one purpose is to break the curse placed on my mother. Meet the new Black Mage (Grigori) may lead to some clue to de-curse.

"I think we're on patrol now. Oh... and I'll have you black magicians guard your comrades."

"yep ⁉"

Bell opens his mouth wide. If he thinks he just needs to find a vampire, he even has to be guarded.

"Don't complain. You're a criminal, so make sure you pay for your sins, okay?

Barbara laughs. Showing her face as the mother of a murderer was also perhaps her plan to keep Bell alert.

"............... I've been wondering just now what a comrade is?

"Oh, I'm a comrade who doesn't believe in Renato."

The word out of the lady's mouth was something that Belle and Lili would not have expected at all.

"What?"

Belle and Lili raise their voices almost simultaneously.

"What? Because it's the birthplace of Renato, don't you have to believe it?

Barbara has a strange face, staring at the two of them.

"... why doesn't Mr. Barbara believe in Renato religion?

"Do you believe that?

"Um, that's..."

Lili clogs the words. If I say I believe you, I believe you. If you say you don't believe, you don't. Renatoism, to her, was to that extent. To the extent that I know it as common sense. I'm not eager to believe, but I didn't believe anything more than Black Moon being real.

"... I guess so. Atashi is not going to deny the teachings of the moon altogether. But thank you. The Pope doesn't care."

Why Barbara doesn't believe in Renato religion. It was in the Pope.

"Why? It's almost like you're stuck in a tower that tall, looking down at your guys every day, right? Can you like that guy?"

Barbara, who felt that Belle and Lili had complained with an expression, went on to tell her why.

"Is that the only reason?

Bell wondered. If you don't mind, I thought there were more reasons. I hate it somehow. Really, is that just the reason?

"That's not all. The Pope has lived and lived for hundreds of years in his mysterious black magic (Grimoire). They say you live higher than anyone because you're close to God, and you can live forever like God, but you can't believe that."

"..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Demons exist, but I've never seen a god."

Bell was nodding loudly. Like Lili, Bell, who had no extra stereotypes, could objectively see Renato. Belle, who has been tormented by scattered demons until now, but I do not know or believe in the existence of God that will save it.

"You agree. I don't think there's a god to judge the demons that are spreading in this world."

Barbara agreed with Bell. What she calls a demon is probably about a vampire.

Immediately after that, footsteps echo in the kitchen. With that in mind, the gaze of the four people here concentrated on one point.

"Mr. Barbara. It was good water."

An unfamiliar elegant voice reaches three ears.

"Buho!

Seeing the Lord of that voice, Bell accidentally bleeds out his nose.

"Well..."

The person, who found out he had a strange face, shy, covered his face with both hands.

The person who appeared in front of the Bells had one long towel wrapped around his complexion. There was hot air standing from its body, and it felt exactly like saying that it had just come out of the bath now.

Soft curved, swollen chest. Coming into the kitchen was a beautifully flowing brown hair, a jewel-like yellow-eyed woman. Will my age be the same as Bell's or a little older? Its face is as clear as white snow, and from a face as fragile as a painting, I feel somewhere worried.

"Emilia. The customer is here now. Put your clothes on."

The name of the hot woman is Emilia. Her appearance didn't seem to anticipate Barbara either, making her smile bitterly at the Bells. Barbara's fingers were pointing out of the kitchen at this time.

"Evening."

Emilia laughed softly as she greeted her elegantly. What was there was a smile that seemed to draw me in, like I'd always want to watch.

politely bowed, she left the kitchen gracefully. From every single thing I do, I can feel her elegance, her softness.
