Lee Seng pulled away from Keng and let out a sigh. He wiped his face and thought about  what he wanted to do. He grabbed his plate and sighed. He didn't have the stomach to eat anything. Lee Seng turned and looked towards the direction of the ruined city. Team Zephyr was suffering while on a mission.

"I don't know what to do." Lee Seng answered Keng's question. "I want to search for answers. I want to know what I am exactly. To think I could potentially be a Failed One is… is a lot."

"On top of you already being a Number and a Fox Spirit." Keng nodded. "Things aren't adding up for you, hm?" Lee Seng nodded and wiped his nose.

"I can't spend too much time thinking about the what-ifs. I need to stick to handling the task at hand." Lee Seng turned to Keng. "So, I'm going to scout for a bit. Clear my head and get the lay of the land." Lee Seng continued down the forest path, opening his map up to check his direction.

"Come back in an hour!" Keng told Lee Seng. "Or I'll come find you!" Lee Seng gave a thumbs up, leaving Keng on his own with a plate of food. Keng shook his head and sighed. "He better come back in an hour…"

The path Lee Seng took wasn't even a path. It was grass and rock that decided it would interweave into each other, creating unsafe footing. Lee Seng carefully made his way through the bumpy "road." The ruined city hung in the distance, quickly growing closer as Lee Seng picked up speed.

'Spawn Step would be good here.' Lee Seng thought. He flicked his hand, watching a tendril appear before stepping towards it. 'Doing this reminds me of how things were then. I wonder what my souls are at… I did hear her tell me something earlier…' Lee Seng watched as the status screen appeared.

[Souls: 68,198/100,000]

'He's done a lot of work since then… Doesn't Keng have a reduction to souls, too? Shouldn't his skills be crazy high?' Lee Seng asked. 'If I get double progression on Souls… Keng must've done at least two times more work…' The numbers wracked up in Lee Seng's head. He groaned as a invisible sharp pain shot through his heart. 'WE COULD'VE HIT SEVEN TAILS BY NOW!'

"Ahh!" Lee Seng screamed, sliding to a stop. "What else changed then?" Lee Seng scrolled the invisible interface. All of his skills had increased many levels, evolving into higher tiers.

'Hm, some skills actually maxed out while others are at twenty…' Lee Seng brushed his chin.

[25 New Skill points are available.]

Lee Seng's finger hit the skills and watched as a ton of new skills popped up. There were even categories for all of these skills.

[Elements], [Fox Spirit], [Savior], [Biohuman], [Number 11], [Passives], [Eldritch Night].

'These are definitely different than before.' Lee Seng thought. He jumped over a small gap in the road and landed on the other side. He continued forward, clicking [Elements].

[Fire Element], [Water Element], [Earth Element], [Air Element]. The four elements were plastered on the screen. Lee Seng shook his head and swapped out of the screen.

'I'm already so spread out. Between the Eldritch Night stuff, my Number stuff and the Fox Spirit stuff, I'm too round. I need something that'll focus on my current set of skills. Maybe something that'll help keep me hidden.' Lee Seng hit [Eldritch Night]. He needed something that would work with both halves of him.

[Eldritch Night Skills]

[Darkness Manipulation, 5 points - Allows the user to bend darkness to their will.*]

'This is the only thing in Eldritch Night? Why?' Lee Seng wondered. He clicked on it and realized there were many more skills locked behind [Darkness Manipulation[. 'Maybe the skills need Darkness manipulation? It's five points… Let's take it.]

[Darkness Manipulation unlocked!]

[The darkness gathers around you a little more…]

[The following skills and abilities have been altered based on the Darkness manipulation skill!]

[Cosmos], [Spawn Step], [Horrific Whiplash], [Tendril Forms], and [Number's Feast].

[The following Class has been updated!]

[Cosmic Horror: Bending your manipulation of the Eldritch horrors you manipulate with your cosmic abilities, the Cosmic Horror commands an arsenal of monsters and weapons with their new profound abilities!]

[Summon Lesser Eldritch Being, 10 skill points! Summons an Lesser Eldritch Being that will attack any enemies for you.]

[Horrific Evolution, 20 skill points! Evolve and mutate your weapon, binding the Cosmic and Eldritch energies into an Awakened blade that can be summoned at will!]

'Woah… This one uses my Mutation ability… I can mutate weapons. That's cool. What else is there?' Lee Seng scrolled and realized a lot of Cosmic Horror's abilities revolved around Lee Seng's already set abilities. They were all passive skills with little to no actual skill uses. 'All very supportive things… Hmm… Is there anything interesting in the other categories?'

Lee Seng flipped back to the main screen. He clicked on [Fox Spirit] and noticed a variety of skills available for purchase. Fox Spirit dealt a lot with stat increases, so Lee Seng didn't really want it. He scrolled through each category, picking the most interesting ones and created a list as he came to an abrupt stop at the edge of the forest.

[List of Skills:]

[Savior: Cursed Bubbles, five points - Allows the User to manipulate curses into bubbles, trapping it for a time. Can be used to study, prevent curse exposure or even manipulate the curse at will!]

[Savior: Prolific Knowledge, fifteen points - Gains all knowledge on any Curses and plants.]

[Biohuman: Mutating Strands - twenty points - Mutates all abilities and skills. Rolls all skill and abilities - do you dare change you're entire identity?]

[Passives: Cosmo, three skill points - Killing an enemy releases a Cosmo. The Cosmos can be manipulated with the Users Cosmic ability. These lights can be touched by allies to heal themselves or be manipulated for destruction.]

With [Horrific Evolution] on the list, Lee Seng had an interesting amount of skills he could use. Lee Seng bit his lip as he looked between the skills. He had reached his potential with skills and such, so any way to push past that would have to be dealt with passive skills. Any actual skill uses like [Cursed Bubbles] would be rare.

'For now, I think I should focus on the weapon I wield.' Lee Seng plunged his hand into the Void Storage and pulled out the Gold & Silver Moon Katana. 'Horrific Evolution will make this way cooler. I'll take it then.'

[Horrific Evolution has been unlocked!]

'Use Horrific Evolution on the Moon Katana.' Lee Seng ordered.

[Horrific Evolution on… Gold & Silver Moon Katana will begin shortly.]

A burst of energy erupted out of Lee Seng's hand. The dark and light tendrils swirled around the blade, consuming it entirely as it turned into a small orb. The orb began to pulse, changing and manipulating the blade. The energy exploded in black and white tendrils forming a hilt. A dark blue-green color formed after, creating the katana's blade. The tendrils wrapped around, growing and shrinking the blade as it grew back to its previous form.

The gold and silver metal blade was now dark green and blue. The hilt was wrapped in gold and silver and runes shimmered across the entire weapon as Lee Seng watched the energy dissipate.

[Horrific Evolution has been completed! Gold & Silver Moon Blade has evolved into Cthulu's Crescent Moon!]

'This is so much stuff.' Lee Seng thought. He released the blade, watching it disappear as he turned and continued onwards. 'We'll have to find a way to use it in battle!' The forest shifted into open black skies. The moon wasn't in sight and the looming ruined city hovered over Lee Seng like it was begging for someone to come to him.
