675 Prisoner's Life

Lee Seng spent the next few months going to court for murder. Lee Seng's Father had paid someone very well to fight for his innocence. They pinned it on someone who wasn't there and had honestly needed some money. It was cruel, but the Creator needed Lee Seng for something. He wasn't sure what, but the back and forth from the lawyers tired him out.

The usual guards shuffled him back into the chamber and "locked" him up and left him. He would get dinner in about an hour. Lee Seng sighed and pulled the clothes off as he listened to the bathroom door beep open. He stepped inside and pulled his clothes off. He switched into his other set of clothes and freshened himself up.

The door slid open and the Creator's right hand man, Dr. Aliks Hemonan was standing behind the red line, arms behind him. Lee Seng bit his lip and wandered over. Dr. Hemonan or as Lee Seng was keen on calling him - DR. He - was a balding man with a gray goatee. He was hunched over slightly and honestly looked like a single sneeze that came his way would kill him.

"Doctor." Lee Seng nodded at him.

"Little Chang." Dr. Hemonan nodded back. "I have some things I need to talk to you about." Dr. Hemonan clicked and a screen showed up on the glass. It was the schedule Lee Seng had been constantly given everyday for the last couple months.  "Spring break is coming up for the Academy students. A week for break, so Dr. Chang thinks its a good idea for you to gain some real experience doing something instead of wasting away here."

"That's a first." Lee Seng commented.

"It does seem you're back to your normal self." Dr. Hemonan shifted and raised his left hand up to the glass screen and pointed at the next itinerary. "You will be tested a couple more times and then released. You'll still be monitored by at least two guards at a time, so don't try to run away."

Lee Seng knew the influx of guards increased for him. The Creator had simply not cared and now that he had murdered a bunch of people, the Creator had to look good. Lee Seng had "tarnished" his name by raising a murderer and he couldn't have that.

"The trial is looking like you'll be innocent. Mr. Valdez is taking the full fall for you like planned." Dr. Hemonan told him. Lee Seng didn't really try to feel anything about this. He tried to feel nothing after failing time and time again to sort out Keng's feelings.

"And I can just walk scott free?" Lee Seng asked.

"No, you can't. People will still look at you even with all of the fabricated evidence given." Dr. Hemonan told him. "Taht's why the guards will increase. You'll have at least two with you at all times but expect four or five minimum. Two will stay with you while you're at your new apartment."

"I'm not going back to the one Akio and Akali bought me?"

"No, your Father has made it clear you'll stay in his radar."

Lee Seng nodded and Dr. Hemonan cleared his throat and continued on. He moved his hand over to the next couple of weeks.

"You will go on missions as a Number. We'll get some reporters in who will question and announce you're Number 11, the second generation of the Numbers. You will essentially be apart of the next generation squad we're creating." Dr. Hemonan informed him. Lee Seng sighed and nodded, a bit disappointed by what was happening. Dr. Hemonan notiiced this and swirled his mustache as he did whenever he observed a patient not be satisfied with what was told.

"You don't want this?" Dr. Hemonan asked. Lee Seng looked at him and simply nodded. "You know you have to obey. Your father could easily just leave you to rot in here but you have to be of use to him."

"So I'll be doing missions for the whole entire Spring Break? What happens when I go back?" Lee Seng asked.

"Your father has arranged online studies. You won't go back. You'll get personalized tutors in every subject including your Fighter and Glass Specializations. You'll do that and Number missions. It's the only way." Dr. Hemonan told him. Lee Seng sighed and wiped his face.

"I need to do missions with people still, right?" Lee Seng asked.

"You'll be given a team."

"I don't want a team curated for me. I like my friends. Let's keep them."

"No can do. We already assumed you'd ask. It can't happen."

"Then you guys can just fuck off then." Lee Seng turned away. "I've done everything he's asked. Even the annoying midnight tests at the other facilities. I've stuck to the script, didn't say a word and the least you could do is give me my friends to work with."

"I'll tell him you said that but I doubt he'll give it to you." Dr. Hemonan told him.

'Ever since your friends came, people have  been wondering who you guys were talking about… It's a shame your friends haven't done anything suspicious since then.' Dr. Hemonan thought. He clicked the button and turned, slipping the remote into his pocket.

"That's all I have to report. You got your usual time before dinner. Try not to wreak havoc." The doctor left Lee Seng to his own devices. Lee Seng groaned as his body began to shake. His eyes filled, turning slightly purple as he forced himself to stop.

'No.' Lee Seng told himself. 'No more outbursts… Not for now.'

A week later…

"Breaking news! It seems Lee Seng Chang isn't the murderer at all! Carlos Valdez has been found and guilty as the murderer who has killed all of those emergency responders. Lee Seng was found to be unconscious within the lab's facility, bloodied and hurt from Valdez's psychotic murders!" The reporter announced. The screen shut off and Lee Seng threw the remote off to the side. A knock came at the door and Lee Seng sighed. He stood up and wandered over to the front door, opening it.

It had been barely a day since Lee Seng moved into the apartment the Creator had picked for him. It was at the edge of the city on West side. It was a really nice area and the Creator had somehow bought a whole building just for him. The guards watching him would live on the same floor as him.

A blonde man stood in front of the door in a suit. His eyes sparkled at him and he nodded at Lee Seng. Lee Seng pulled the door open and motioned for him to come in. A red haired woman stepped in afterwards and nodded at Lee Seng. She was, too, in the same outfit as the first.

Lee Seng shut the door and followed them into the living room. It was plain and had Lee Seng's exact tastes in mind, but lacked any… warmth. The two guards turned to him and saluted him before introducing themselves.

"My name is Andrea. Andrea Erickson." The red head introduced herself. Lee Seng looked over at the sunkissed blonde. He looked very familiar to him. He couldn't quite put a finger on it as the blonde spoke.

"My name's Calis. Calis Anderson." The blonde nodded at Lee Seng.

'Why does that sound familiar?' Lee Seng wondered.

"We'll be on the first shift today. You'll meet the others another time, sir." Andrea told him. Lee Seng nodded and wandered past them. The two watched as he left them and entered his bedroom. Andrea and Calis looked at each other, giving each other a knowing nod and followed after Lee Seng.

Lee Seng's room was covered in darkness. He pulled the shades open, letting in the light and revealing the gorgeous view. If he wasn't in this predicament, he'd actually enjoy the view more. His new bodyguards, Andrea and Calis, entered the room, waiting for him so they could continue their talk.

"Anything else?" Lee Seng asked, not even turning to face them. He was tidying his already tidy room.

"The Creator wants us to take you to the lab for testing in a couple of hours. Did you eat yet, sir?" Andrea asked.

"Mmm, can we grab something on the way?" Lee Seng asked.

"I can have someone grab something for you." Calis spoke up.

"Sure. You know what I like to eat?" Lee Seng turned and looked at both of them.

"I'm assuming you aren't in a great mood for breakfast so burgers?" Calis raised an eyebrow. Lee Seng did a finger gun at him and nodded. "I'll have someone pick it up for you, sir."

"Thank you. Anything else?" Lee Seng asked.

"Nothing, sir." Andrea and Calis responded at the same time.

"Make yourselves at home, then. I'll be in here. No need to watch me from here. What can I do? Bust myself out?" He raised his left hand and showed them the bracelet. It was stopping him from using any of his powers. "Let me know when the food comes."

"Yes, sir." Andrea and Calis saluted and excused themselves.
