23 – Closed Exam

“This is the entrance to the G-Test.”

Mad Genius stopped in front of the huge iron gate.

“There are three factors that can help you score in the exam room prepared for you in the afternoon. Rescuing citizens, killing monsters, arresting villains. And, as an exception, an external judge can give scores through the CCTV installed in the test site. They are the contestant’s Hero Heart. In other words, it evaluates heroism and gives points.”

Heroism means acting like a hero. For example, if you run away immediately because the mission is difficult, your score will be reduced because you have shown an unheroic appearance.

If you don’t like that, you need to at least show a heroic appearance.

“All points are of equal value. I hope you keep this in mind.”

Perfect! Mad Genius landed a finger snap. The machine installed at the entrance of the test site responded, and a huge hologram image flowed out of the air.

“The screen you are looking at is a map of the inside of the exam hall.”

On the map, all the essential elements that make up the city center, such as shopping districts, parks, and residential districts, were present.

“Black dots represent villains, and red dots represent monsters. And the blue dots are the citizens you need to rescue.”

The 2nd stage test that I saw in the original game was quite difficult. I didn’t know the contents of the other tests, but I was really grateful for the fact that I had looked at this in advance.

Citizens are professional actors recruited by Baekwoon. Truth acting is great, but if you really do anything, this is s*xual harassment. Sick. It’s tough. This delays time.

If you listen to all the requests, your mentality will go out for no reason, so you need to compromise in moderation. If you ignore it, the judges will lower your heroism score. Controlling the middle is key.

Monsters are made up of golems created by Baekwoon’s Artifact Department. They are generally weaker than Awakeners, but there is an exceptionally strong individual hidden there.

These guys mimicked the instincts of real monsters. They form groups, and there is a weak automatic repair function. If you can’t deal with it at once, it will take time to deal with it.

Lastly, the villains. These are students attending Baekwoon. As a result, the individual combat power variance is very large. Also, even if they are defeated, they talk about human rights and do everything possible to avoid being arrested.

Actually, all three of those elements were time-consuming hippos.

In the first place, it was designed that way.

My God. How do you avoid those terrible trio and suck honey in the test?

Ah, that’s right……. Does not exist. You have to go and hit it.

Where can anything in the world be easy? Because it’s hard. It is the flower of Baekun.

Ah, what a beautiful flower of Baekun.

As an aside, Baegun’s culture is the white chrysanthemum. It is often used in funeral homes.

“The time limit is five hours.”

It is very long. It means that the tasks prepared inside are also considerable.

“However, if all the colored dots in the testing room disappear, it will end prematurely.”

In fact, there is no such thing. It’s an easy mission, but it’ll disappear quickly. Difficult tasks remain until someone solves them.

If I had to pick the most difficult task in this exam, it would be to catch the ‘senior villain’ who is in the hero department.

Staying at Baegun for more than a year means a lot.

In the original work, Cha Yeon-hwa had a fight with a 4th grade senior villain who was about to graduate, and was robbed and almost eliminated.

But he used his wits and ran away. After that, things went well, and I passed as first place in the group.

The fact that Yeonhwa Cha lost to her 4th grade senior, combined with the incident in which she lost her ranking to Eunsol Baek in her original work, was a huge stimulus to her.

‘Thanks to that, I grew up quickly.’

Cha Yeon-hwa, as the main character, has considerable effects inherent in Gaho. One of them was that the more intense her emotions were felt, the faster she grew.

5… 4… 3… 2… One!

The test site opened, and about 200 participants rushed inside at once. So did I.

There is no honey sucking method in this test, but an efficient route exists.

To make that possible, you must first go to a place where dots overlap.

I remember what some of the participants muttered before the exam started.

―From what I hear, the actors here are so kind….

―But that would be the easiest, right?

―Aren’t the blue and red dots overlapping? Shall we try here?

―It’s hard to just rescue people, but what if a monster suddenly attacks? And you said that if you try and run away, your score will be deducted.

-Ah, that’s right. I’ll have to avoid that for now.

It is usually reasonable to avoid it. Because it is clear that it will be more difficult than other places of the same difficulty. If you recklessly try and fail, your heroism score will be deducted.

In a game where everyone competes at the same time, it’s better to start with a low difficulty and go up step by step. After all, there are only a limited number of people who can solve the difficulty.

‘It takes a long time.’

The general idea is that you don’t have to take that risk over other good places. However, this is because the points that are added when points and points overlap are not separately notified.

Rescue citizens in a place where monsters are concentrated. Then you would think that you would simply get points for killing monsters and rescuing citizens, but in reality this is not the case.

In a situation where there is an obvious threat such as a monster, the judges always add heroism points to the target person because they rescued the citizen safely.

What if a monster and a villain exist at the same time? He did not back down against the two evil forces and even arrested the villain, so this is also a heroic feat and gives him heroism points.

As such, heroism points are always added when dots overlap.

For missions of the same difficulty level, it is best to accumulate as many points as possible with the fewest number of missions as this reduces the time spent on movement.

With less than 10m left to the overlapping point, someone’s cry was heard.

“…… Help me!”

Ah… , It took

Basic Rules of Heroes. Don’t ignore anyone (other than the villain) who asks for help.

There are exceptions depending on the situation, but they cannot be used in this test. Therefore, if you just pass by after hearing that sound, your heroism score will be reduced.

I can’t help it. Rescue him quickly, and let’s move to the destination.

“Doctor! Doctor! Call the doctor!”

“Sir, if I want to help you, you have to get up first… ….”

“Everything, no need! Call a doctor right here!”

You can tell by looking at the tie tied around the head and the loose-fitting outfit. According to the setting, the man currently being rescued was a drunkard.

Why does drunkenness exist in the Civil Rescue section? This is all real proof.

At some point, the job of being a hero has become too familiar to the public. Even when he had to call the police, he started calling a hero. So sometimes the hero did the response to the drunk, which the police usually took care of.

The lucky thing here is that it’s only occasionally. By any chance, when the reporter calls a hero for a non-urgent matter, if an incident that requires a hero occurs elsewhere, the reporter must take responsibility.

“Where are you touching! Where can I touch you!”

He’s really good at acting. If you’re a woman, I understand. When a boy asks a guy where to touch him, he gets pretty pissed off.

I suppressed my desire to beat and supported it until the end.

In the end, it took 31 minutes to move to the rescue point.

Still, it’s not a big deal yet.

Since the missions are so sh*tty, everyone took a long time to complete on average.

I just need to catch up with that gap.

“Help me!”

It took 33 minutes.

“Save me! Save me!”

It took 27 minutes.

“Come on buddy help me!”

“… ….”

It took 31 minutes.

Damn it! I know an efficient way, but why can’t I use it!

There are a lot of citizens asking for help only at the corner of my way? And that’s because it’s a bad thing that takes 30 minutes on average?

This must have been some malicious manipulation.

That would be the case, I memorized the map outside. I still remember where it was and what it was.

-What? Why was I rescued here?

―Uh, is that strange? I… , was here?

-Gh, I was standing wrong.

After arriving at the rescue point, I remembered what the actors said. Words that evoke the nuance that they were not originally in a position to stand.

Did the veterans recruited by Baekwoon make a rudimentary mistake as a group? No, it can’t be. Someone has moved their location. With such a speed that they wouldn’t even notice that they had been moved.

At this point, there is only one person capable of such nonsense.

Jin Baek, Chairman.

I raised my head and watched the CCTV in the upper right corner. Wait, I glared at the place where the judges would be.

Did it bother you that your granddaughter’s first place was stolen?

Well, do whatever you want.

No matter what you do, I will definitely join the special class.
