A Wish to Grab Happiness

Episode 86: A Woman named Eldis

Vision blinks and a sense of equilibrium is lost for a moment. So after several blinking sensations, my eyes opened.

It's a sight I'm used to seeing in my eyes. It was my own sight, looking up from the bed. Eldis puts his efforts at his fingertips to make sure that he is now an entity.

Hell, I can't be this feeling of coming back to my body again after creating a phantom. Sometimes I even wonder if this is really my body. They are lost over time.

Whatever it is, the role I was told played. Eldis loosens her cheeks slightly. It wasn't as intense a look as it could be described as an emotional movement, but its face seemed slightly upward in mood.

I don't know if it's enough to say information, but he'll be satisfied with this first. I think so, and I get my legs off the bed trying to get out of the bedroom.

Second, the appearance got into my sight. What is shown is who I am just getting out of bed. Hair jumps like a slight habit, and the outfit is noticeably disturbing, albeit menswear. The appearance of eyelashes and complexion may not be as good as usual. Erdis' toe stops when he tries to leave the room.

Nature and elongated fingers will fix your hair, as well as any clothing disturbances. His face also exposes him to water, blinking his eyes and observing himself in the mirror.

Is this the place? I was beginning to think that it would be better to put in a bowl anyway, and Erdis' cheeks would stain with a pearlescent color.

What are you doing, yourself? He prefers men's clothing and matches it with his tone. Erdis realizes that he is not forced to, and that this look and the way it is best suited to him.

Therefore, until now, I have left it to the maid of honor, such as hair and familiarity, or I have not even cared much for myself.

And yet what am I now?

Eldis rocks his big blue eyes and shifts his gaze away from the mirror. It's like a maiden spending her time decorating herself. I don't remember having such a hobby.

By and large, it is that crude human Rugis when it comes to the person you are about to meet. I wonder what you need to care about. One thing, isn't it? That's what I think, and I hang my hands on the door that separates the bedroom from the living room.

Ringing his throat several times in front of the bedroom door, he still opens the wooden door while his fingertips stroke his hair naturally. No, and an old noise rang.

"Hey, I'm home. It's not bad. At least I don't have to fight with blindfolds anymore."

Whose feat is that, he dares not say clearly, leaking a slightly higher voice through his throat.

But even after a while, the voices I expected from inside the room will not return. Weird. Sometimes, even though that slightly sarcastic voice could come back.

When I peered through the room pointing my lips in dissatisfaction, the figure was as usual, there. But the green figure has closed her nagging eyes while sitting in the chair.

Eldis somehow approached the figure slowly so as not to freshen up the sound and peered into his face from close quarters.

Deep breaths that are regularly exhaled, and unopened eyelids. I see, definitely. Rugis is falling asleep as he sits in his chair.

Again, Eldis' lips swayed to represent discontent in her chest, slightly strengthening her eyelids. Originally it was not in the nature of putting emotions on the face so much, but now I can see a clear grump from their appearance.

He said he had created the phantom as instructed and went to reconnaissance activities, but when he returned, the conductor was asleep. Isn't it one of the duties to see the results of the instructions given? Erdis points at Rugis' lips as he peeks into his sleeping face.

No, but Eldis blinked those eyes and remembered.

Well, he barely slept last night. It seemed to me that Rugis held up Eldis's body all night and continued to support him without a single night's sleep. This, my body.

Whatever, Eldis' ears shake.

I see, if so, I have some choice. I've heard that the one called the human body is not so sturdy or durable. When you think about yesterday, you should admit that you are going to get some sleep now.

Eldis gently stroked the strange hand placed in the chair. Especially since this man is his own knight. That much may be the measure as one who stands above forgiveness.

I thought so and stared at my sleeping face again, something annoying had already disappeared from Eldis' chest. Instead, they are comfortable trying to acknowledge and praise the other person's work.

Nothing, I didn't forgive him, Rugis. If you're not still believing out of the bottom of your mind, it's not like you have nowhere to think, it should be.

But Erdis blinks his eyelashes when he is certain that something like hostility toward man is fading toward him.

At first, it was from sympathy that the sickened felt pity for each other. He felt that he was the one who gave up on each other, and thought it was the kind of pattern that would lick his wound.

But that's my mistake. Eldis is reminded that it was a one-sided thought. Rugis said. He said he wasn't willing to give up or die any more. On the contrary, when I forced myself out to show it, I said it out. While piercing this blue-eye.

Tickling, a grin leaked from Eldis's cheek as he continued to look at Rugis' sleeping face.

What a disrespect. You would be forgiven for scratching your neck off on that spot if it were meant to be. Just a human being and an elf princess. It even seems silly to compare.

But Eldis didn't really care that much then. Had it not been for Rugis, he would have sooner or later worn his spirit in this tower with the passage of time, causing its roots to go quietly mad.

I'm sure I didn't have the courage to leave the tower at this fingertip and reach for the sky. On this leg, there was no way out of the barbaric courage to run the earth again.

Oh, I suppose so. Sooner or later you must have given up everything and thrown it out of this hand. If Rugis doesn't take this hand, he'll get himself involved and take him out.

I take Rugis' sloppy, stretched fingers and intertwine them with my own fingers. Gyu, strong enough not to wake up, Eldis holds hands.

"You said it, didn't you? He wants to get me involved and make sure I don't get away with it. I'm surprised."

That way, bite the words off one by one. As I tell him I slept, I'll tell him. As if, a celebration. It's like one, like a curse.

"Elves are very obsessive. The emotions I once had would never scratch off easily. Never."

Elves are difficult to degenerate because of their longevity, or even because of their thinking, their habits, and their emotions. Whatever the degree to which it floats in a light routine, the deeper it is engraved, the more it becomes an indelible wound.

And I made a pact with him. That's what he said he wouldn't let him get away with, and he accepted himself. Yes, it's a contract.

I didn't completely forgive my chi. I didn't even trust everything. I didn't even accept everything.

However, Rugis said he wouldn't let him get away with it, that's what he said.

Erdis accepted the bond.

"I keep my word. On your own account."

Still in Rugis' ear to rest, as he whispered, Erdis shrugged.
