A Wish to Grab Happiness

Episode XXI: The Selfish Between Them

"This is still a pub at the end of the day. Well, they used to call me quite a Romeo."

Whatever the word, it seemed to Karia Birdnick as ironic. Is it purposeful or is there a play? Unexpectedly round his silver eyes, he stares at Rugis with his foot to the window frame in confusion.

"How did you get here... No, you didn't. Why did you come here?

Karia Birdnick's upset was obvious. The silver eyes are opened, telling us that the thought is not spinning well. Sometimes agile fingertips swayed to get lost, but still slowly unlocked the window.

"How dare you. If there's a princess in captivity, then it's Romeo's job to come to salvation, isn't it? Well, maybe this time he's a captive knight."

When Rugis pays the branches on his body as they are, he says so, naturally, and offers his hand, most importantly. My body trembles, not even frightened by the beast. Dare to hoist both eyebrows with a look that included amazement, Kalia Birdnick slowly shook her neck to the side.

"No. I'm not in captivity. I want it, I just do it."

That is definitely a lie. No partial mix-up, genuine lies. Karia Birdnick accidentally strayed her gaze to the side to the words out of her mouth as she offered her penance to God.

Yeah, it's a lie. Decided to lie. But how can you say you want to take that hand? How can you say it's a good idea to take him out anywhere? Taking that hand here is iniquity to my father. Instead of helping this man then, he would break his vows to keep what he wanted. The dirt is Karia Birdnick's insistence, ethics and outlook on life. Whatever you take, it's not something you can wipe down.

"Besides, I'm not willing to ask a miserable man like you to help me. Go home. Go home, go anywhere."

"... whatever, you unsolicited Mitsuhiko"

Rugis flaunts her shoulders and responds to words that spit out her lips. I had no choice but to forgive the grumpy cat.

I don't like it. My silver hair fluttered and swayed. Yes, Karia Birdnick reminds me that she didn't like this guy from the beginning. Call people selfish, but how about this guy? When you speak to a man's battle on your own, shelter a man on your own, and save a man on your own, you say soak. Oh, what an unsolicited man.

"Either you're on your own, Rugis. Am I disturbed by your unsolicited behavior at the fort?

Words that stripped the thorns out were leaking out of nature and Kalia Birdnick's mouth. Words like eight hits, and possibly infidelity and rotten.

"Of course you did, Karia Birdnick. Save my life on my own, leave the Knights on my own, and come to this place on my own. Oh, she's a selfish woman."

To a one-sided story, the moment Karia Birdnick shook her silver hair to reveal her anger, her thin, white fingers were gripped by a boneless hand. Not expecting that feeling, Kalia Birdnick's words, which were supposed to be thrown out with outrage, rub down her throat again.

Even if it rots, no one in the chivalry, upper class, ever had such a hand. Among the Knights, there are no more boneless hands than there are traces of training to be proud of as knights. The scratches linger as if rubbed off everywhere, and the softness is not felt as if. Rather, I feel slight discomfort in the skin I come into contact with. A shrunken hand to live, rather than to be manly. It's not pleasant. The roughness of taking hands is as if it were even a beastly gesture. I've never held such a hand or been shaken before.

Yeah, but - they held hands, and I've never learned how expensive my emotions are like this.

I don't know, Karia Birdnick shook her hand back. Its white cheeks are mixed with a hint of vermilion. I wasn't conscious. unconscious. I repeated over and over again in my head that this was therefore a reflexive action that was not my own will.

"- So I decided to take it personally, too, yeah. I will rob you of this mansion. What did you and Barberidge Birdnick promise? I'm just a rat."

The reverence used by Rugis against Kalia Birdnick, which was behaved in a bent manner, is taken away and his arms are drawn hard. His eyes, which he saw up close, seemed to dwell in darkness.

"Right... hmm. Suit yourself, you unscrupulous bastard. Yeah, but robbing me was a big one. Yeah?"

"Yeah, whatever it is, it's a life given to the random. Now, ahhh... if your life is spared, would you please follow me to the carriage outside, Princess? No, a knight, huh?

The lines of the bad guys that I would have created with that improvisation were something of a blur and Kalia Birdnick's cheeks unwittingly loosened.

"Are you a princess or a knight? It's Calia. It's just Calia. - Rugis, are you just on Calia's side?

Yes, if it's going to be robbed from the Birdnicks. I'm sure it deserved it, Kalia Birdnick again, just Kalia narrowed her eyes.

"... oh, of course"

A beat as bewildered. That's how Rugis shrugged as he slowly opened his lips to choose the words.
